About Precious Broadband:
Small Team, Real 5G Broadband Support

We're a UK company building broadband the way we'd want it ourselves: clear, fast, and human.

Who we are

Precious Broadband is a small operation run from Faversham, Kent. We're a trading name of Mad Tech Heads LTD — Company No: 14440918, with our registered office in London. We sell one thing well: 5G broadband for homes and small businesses across the UK.

It started because my own home internet was unusable. I fixed it for myself with a 4G router years ago, then kept getting asked to do the same for friends, family and customers. The full story's here.

We deliberately don't do instant online checkout. Every new customer gets a real conversation first, so nobody ends up with internet that doesn't work for them.

What we believe

  • Pricing should be plain English. No introductory rates, no surprise hikes.
  • Support means a human, not a chatbot.
  • If we can't give you a good service, we'll say so up front.
  • Long-term customers matter more than fast sign-ups.

Why we built this

Precious Broadband exists because of a personal frustration. The founder, Simon Gilbert, spent years with home internet too slow and unreliable for a day's work. He solved it himself with a 4G router — and then kept being asked to do the same for everyone else who was in the same position.

The pattern was clear: a lot of people, particularly in areas where fibre broadband had never reached, were stuck with terrible internet and no real options. The big providers weren't interested in small rural locations. So Simon built a small ISP focused on doing one thing well: getting 5G broadband to homes that the fibre companies had passed over.

Our service area

We operate across the UK wherever 5G mobile networks reach. Based in Faversham, Kent, we have particular experience with addresses in rural and semi-rural parts of the South East where traditional fibre broadband is slow, inconsistent, or simply not available.

5G coverage continues to expand. If we can't confirm a strong signal at your address today, we'll let you know and keep you on a watchlist — no spam, just a notification if coverage improves in your area.

Check coverage at your address — two minutes, no commitment.

Who this is for

Precious Broadband works well for:

  • Homes in areas where fibre broadband isn't available or is unreliable
  • People who've recently moved and need internet immediately (no engineer wait)
  • Renters who can't have permanent infrastructure installed
  • Small businesses and home offices that need reliable upload speeds for video calls and cloud apps
  • Anyone who wants a straightforward contract with real human support

If you're unsure whether it's right for you, fill in our coverage form and we'll tell you honestly — even if the answer is "stick with what you have".
